配置冷通道機柜系統(tǒng)或熱通道機柜系統(tǒng)。其原理為：通過對機房氣流進(jìn)行控制來節(jié)省制冷能耗和提高服務(wù)器運行穩(wěn)定性已是數(shù)據(jù)機房建設(shè)者的常用措施；冷熱通道分離方法、機柜內(nèi)使用擋風(fēng)板和假面板防止熱空氣無序流竄等等也已是成熟的簡單技術(shù)。一般機房的機柜布置，遠(yuǎn)離主機房空調(diào)的機柜內(nèi)設(shè)備無法得到有效的散熱，機柜內(nèi)設(shè)備處于高溫環(huán)境下運行，要想使遠(yuǎn)離主機房空調(diào)的機柜內(nèi)設(shè)備得到有效散熱，要么增加輔助空調(diào)，要么再降低主機房空調(diào)的冷氣溫度，都將增加能耗。冷通道機柜系統(tǒng)或熱通道機柜系統(tǒng)主要用于設(shè)備密度較大的機柜的機房，通過冷風(fēng)的定向流動達(dá)到局部熱點以及的目的。當(dāng)局部機柜發(fā)熱量大于其他同一通道內(nèi)的機柜時，可采用在對應(yīng)機柜旁增加列間空調(diào)或在開孔靜電地板上增加向上吹氣的風(fēng)扇和控制氣流方向的百葉窗，以增加此機柜進(jìn)氣側(cè)的進(jìn)氣量來解決散熱的問題。
